Equipment

We are hauling with a Freightliner Sports Chassis 4-door crew cab and a Cimarron 6-horse slant load 8’ tall trailer with a 5’ mid-tack, rear tack that is collapsible, ramp at back doors, and a 14’ living quarters. Box Stalls 7’9”x 8’ are available for mares in foal, mare and foal, and weanlings. This trailer can be set up to have three box stalls with full ceiling to floor stud panels. Tally Ho-Cowboy’s policy is to stop about every 3 hours to check each horse, making sure they are traveling with minimal stress. Water is provided at each 3 hour break, making sure each horse is consuming plenty of water as well as hay, if needed. Your horse's health is our number one priority. Horse(s) requiring any special care along the way will also be attended to during this time and as needed at any other time along the trip.

NOTE: Please note that our rig is about 70’ long from nose of truck to tail of trailer. If you do not have adequate entry into your farm or adequate space to turn around or continue down the road at delivery, then you will need to make arrangements to meet us and take delivery of your horse(s). Also please remember that if you are scheduling or booking a trip between November 1 and March 15, trips to the upper Midwest or to the Northeast will depend strictly on the weather and road conditions. (This is for the safety of your horse(s) and the driver and crew of the rig).
